BUSINESS, FINANCE & TAX
Our attorneys serve as counsel to privately and publicly held companies. We counsel in all aspects of business law including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, and licensing of software, technology and trademarks. We represent real estate and asset based lenders as well as factoring companies. Our attorneys structure shareholder agreements, stock options and other deferred compensation arrangements.
Our Firm represents employers and employees in all areas of employment law litigation, including claims for sexual harassment, wrongful termination and overtime. We also prepare employment and consulting agreements and advise employers with regard to compliance with state and Federal laws including, Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and Family Leave Medical Act.
Our attorneys handle federal and state trial litigation as well as appellate litigation with emphasis in all areas of commercial and business law, employment, real estate, construction defect and serious personal injury matters.
Our attorneys handle complex family law matters. Our pracitice is primarily focused on those cases representing high net worth clients where there are significant assets. Our areas of focus are real and personal property divisions and spousal and child support in appropriate cases. We also have experience handling cases involving same sex separations.
Our attorneys represent financial institutions, developers, partnerships, and publicly traded companies. We have counseled property owners on acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, development, construction, easements and leasing, and have represented financial institutions in lending, debt restructuring and remedies. Such work has included foreclosure actions, and the purchase and sale of shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, apartment buildings and residential property.
